To request a detail from the Northborough Police Department please fill out the form below. Please submit a request at least 2 weeks in advance.
Four (4) hour MINIMUM for all details. After four hours is an eight (8) hour MINIMUM. You must request either a 4 hour or 8 hour detail. Payment for the length of the detail ordered shall be paid in full, even if the work performed is less than the scheduled time.
UPDATED DETAIL RATES (JULY 1, 2026 – JULY 1, 2027):
Base rate = $61/hour
Overtime = $91.50/hour
Sunday/Holiday rate = $91.50/hour
Hazardous Duty rate = $122/hour

Cancellation:
A minimum of 4 hours notice is required for cancellation. Failure to give 4 hours notice of cancelation will result in a fee of $268.40 (equal to the 4H minimum + service fee)
