Congratulations to Officer Josh Ferreira and Officer Jake Tondell on graduating the police academy today. Both will start with the NPD on Tuesday. A special acknowledgment to Officer Tondel who received the physical fitness award for finishing top in his class.
Help the Northborough and UMass Police Departments bring smiles to Worcester area D.C.F. foster families this holiday season! The departments will hold a toy drive at the Walmart in Northborough on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will be accepted new, unwrapped toys, books, puzzles, games, gift cards etc. for children aged infant through teens.
The Northborough Police Department will once again be taking part in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s national drug take-back day on Saturday April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Unwanted, unused, expired prescriptions or over-the-counter medication will be accepted. (Sharps will not be accepted).
April is Autism awareness month. We will be selling our autism patches at the police station or at Beyond Nutrition (269 West Main Street) Patches are $10. Proceeds from the sale of the patches will be going to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.
