IMPORTANT NOTICE: CodeRED System Update
The Town of Northborough uses CodeRED to send emergency alerts, weather warnings, and important public safety notifications by phone, text, and email.
CodeRED recently experienced a nationwide security incident. Out of an abundance of caution, the service has moved to a new and more secure platform called CodeRED Crisis24.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Depending on when you originally signed up, you will either need to reset your password or re-register to continue using CodeRED.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
IF YOU REGISTERED BEFORE MARCH 2025: You only need to reset your password.
- Go to: https://accountportal.onsolve.net/northboroughtownma
- Click “Sign In”
- Select “Forgot Password”
- Enter the email address associated with your CodeRED account
- Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password
Once completed, you can log in and confirm your contact information and alert preferences.
IF YOU REGISTERED IN MARCH 2025 OR LATER: You will need to create a new account.

- Enter your contact information and alert preferences
