NORTHBOROUGH – Police Chief Brian Griffin reports that the Northborough Police Department is asking for public assistance as it seeks to identify a suspect who threw a brick through a window of the police station.
The Northborough Police Department is pleased to introduce Sergeant Tom McDonald and Officer Connor Henry as the department’s first-ever Senior Liaison Officers.
The mission of the Senior Liaison Officer is to:
• Educate seniors about recent crime trends and provide guidance on crime prevention strategies.
• Investigate crimes and suspicious activities involving seniors, ensuring their safety and security.
• Offer referral assistance, connecting seniors with relevant community resources and support services.
• Address safety and trust issues specific to seniors, such as door-to-door scams, phone scams, and general home and internet safety protocols.
• Brief NPD officers about particular needs and concerns involving our senior residents
